Trace every batch from raw material lot to finished SKU.

Keep SKUs, suppliers, material lots and production batches in one base, linked so any lot can be traced in both directions. Quality checks arrive from a form on the line, and production runs sit on a Gantt.

  • Batches linked to SKUs and supplier material lots
  • Quality checks logged from a form on the floor
  • Production runs planned on a Gantt with dependencies

Everyday workflows

Lot traceability through links

Material lots from suppliers, production batches and SKUs live in linked tables. Each batch links to the lots it consumed and the SKU it made. If a supplier flags lot OAT-2210, open it and the inverse link lists every batch that used it; open a batch to see exactly which lots went in.

Quality checks from a form on the line

Share a QC form link with operators. Each submission becomes a record with batch, check type, measured value, pass or fail and notes, and it appears live for the quality lead. A view filtered by «Result is Fail and Created time is today» shows what needs attention, and a comment with an @mention assigns the follow-up.

Production runs on a Gantt

Plan each run with a start and an end date and add dependencies, such as cleaning before an allergen changeover. The Gantt view shows the sequence across lines, and the timeline view gives a broader look at the month. A formula like DATETIME_DIFF({End}, {Start}, 'hours') shows run length.

SKUs and suppliers in one catalog

The SKUs table holds name, pack size, unit cost and status; Suppliers holds contacts, certifications as multiple select and a rating. Link materials to approved suppliers, filter suppliers by «Certification has none of Organic», and check per-record history to see who changed a spec and when.

Views & structure

Key views

  • Gantt Sequence production runs and changeovers with their dependencies.
  • Form Operators log quality checks from any device through a public link.
  • Grid Edit batches fast and trace lots with filters and grouping.
  • Kanban Move batches through testing, on hold, released or rejected.
  • List Nest batches under SKU and month for a clear production log.

Recommended fields

  • Batch (Autonumber) Gives every batch a unique number nobody has to type.
  • Material lots (Link to another record) Records which supplier lots went into each batch, both ways.
  • QC status (Single select) In testing, on hold, released, rejected, each with a color.
  • Produced on (Date) Date and time of the run, with time zone for each plant.
  • Certifications (Multiple select) Tags suppliers with the certifications they hold.
  • Yield (Formula) {Good units} / {Units} as a percent for each batch.

Your agent over MCP

Connect your own agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor) over MCP and it reads the same linked tables your team uses. It can trace a lot to every batch, total output by SKU and set up views for the quality team. Its changes appear live and are marked in history.
